Hakone is full of hills and winding roads, so a baby carrier is often easier than a stroller. The area around Gora is especially steep, so if your hotel sits at the top of a hill, dropping off your bags before check-in makes life much easier. Getting around mostly means the Hakone Tozan Bus and the ropeway, and you will need to fold your stroller on the bus.
