Data for AI agents

Kids Stay offers the data on kid-friendly facilities that we verify and organize (whether children who are not yet potty trained may use the baths and the pool, whether baby beds can be borrowed, whether baby food is handled, and so on, across 51 features for every listed property) as an official data connection that AI assistants and AI agents can read directly: an MCP server.

It is there so that when you ask an AI such as ChatGPT or Claude "which onsen hotels in Hakone take a child who is not yet potty trained?", the AI can quote our verified data accurately in its answer.

How to connect

In an AI client that supports MCP (Model Context Protocol), add the following endpoint as a custom connector (Streamable HTTP, no authentication required).

Four tools are available.

  • search_hotels: Search for hotels by kid-friendly feature, area, age and price
  • get_hotel: The verified detail for one property (with the evidence, the source and the date last checked for each feature)
  • list_conditions: The definitions of the 51 features you can search on
  • list_areas: The number of listed properties by prefecture and by area

What the data covers, and its quality

  • We serve only information that is published on this site. It contains no personal data whatsoever.
  • The information for each property carries a source (its official website or similar) and the date we last checked it.
  • Facilities and services do change. The information is a guide as of the date we checked it, and we do not warrant that it is accurate or complete. Before booking, please always check the property page or the official website for the latest information.
  • There is a rate limit in place to prevent excessive access. Ordinary use from an AI client will not run into it.

Terms of use (in brief)

You are welcome to use the data when generating answers with an AI, as long as you cite the URL of the relevant property page on this site as the source. Redistributing or selling the data you obtain, building a database or a service that competes with this site, and altering the data in a way that misrepresents its source are all prohibited.
