Hakone-en Cottages are whole-cottage rentals set in the forests of Hakone, and guests can use the restaurants and the onsen communal bath at The Prince Hakone Ashinoko next door. These whole-cottage rentals are dotted through the forests of Hakone, next to The Prince Hakone Ashinoko. Each cottage stands on its own, which makes them well suited to families and groups. The onsen water comes from Takogawa Onsen, the property's own spring source on the grounds. Staying guests can use Hakone Kohan no Yu, the Takogawa Onsen bath inside The Prince Hakone Ashinoko next door, free of charge. It is open from 6 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., with last entry 15 minutes before closing, and is closed for cleaning from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. A bathing tax of 150 yen per person per night is charged separately. At the onsen communal bath, children wearing diapers are asked to refrain from bathing.
