Overview
Village Izukogen is a condominium-suite property spread across a highland surrounded by sea and greenery in Izukogen, Shizuoka, where every room has an ocean view and a kitchen. Each suite has a separate living room, dining room and kitchen, giving families room to spread out. There is an open-air bath with onsen flowing directly from the source, an indoor heated pool with a children's pool, and a kids' space. The property is certified as a Welcome Baby Inn by the Mikihouse Child-Rearing Research Institute, and is thoughtfully set up for families traveling with young children.
Rooms
All rooms are ocean-view suites with a kitchen, and each one is laid out with a separate living room, dining room and kitchen. The Standard Suite is 78 sq m for 1 to 5 guests: a Japanese-Western room that pairs a Western-style room with two beds (90 cm wide by 190 cm long) with a Japanese-style tatami room holding 3 futon sets. Along with the separate kitchen and dining area, rooms have an air purifier with a humidifying function and a toilet with a warm-water bidet seat. For families with young children, there are flat Japanese-Western rooms with few steps, stocked with items such as a baby bath, a booster seat, toys and picture books.
