Overview
Inatori Ginsuiso is a purely Japanese-style ryokan standing at the tip of a cape in Inatori Onsen, Higashiizu-cho, Shizuoka, with ocean views from every room. The communal bath and open-air bath are fed by the ryokan's own spring source, babies are welcome to bathe there, and the changing rooms are stocked with items such as a baby bed and a baby bath. In summer, staying guests can use the outdoor pool free of charge, and a rocky-shore play spot is a 3-minute walk away. With meal menus for elementary school children and for children under school age, the ryokan is easy to use for family trips with young children.
Rooms
Every guest room has an ocean view, and the location at the tip of a cape gives spectacular views of the Sagami Sea and the Izu Peninsula toward Shimoda. Among the regular rooms, the Standard Ocean-Side Japanese-style tatami room is 45 sq m and 11 tatami mats, sleeps 1 to 5 guests, and has a standard layout with a broad window-side space overlooking the sea and an alcove. The Upgrade Japanese-style tatami room has a 13-tatami-mat room with a shower room and toilet but no bathtub, and sleeps 1 to 4 guests. The Japanese-style tatami room with an anteroom, well suited to three generations traveling together, is 77 sq m (an 18.5-tatami-mat room plus a 6-tatami-mat anteroom) and sleeps 2 to 6 guests. Among the Western-style rooms, you can choose the Comfort Room on the 5th floor, about 45 sq m with 2 beds and sleeping 1 to 2 guests, or the Twin Bed Room, 27 sq m with 2 beds measuring 120 cm wide by 210 cm long and sleeping 1 to 2 guests.
Dining
Breakfast is a Japanese and Western buffet at the Gin no Umi dining room, where a live kitchen grills dishes such as dried horse mackerel. Separate menus are prepared for elementary school children and for children under school age, and an a la carte menu is available for ordering individual dishes. If you consult the ryokan in advance about food allergies, dishes are prepared with allergens removed as far as possible. However, the kitchen, cooking utensils and tableware are not kept separate from allergenic ingredients, so the ryokan cannot accommodate guests who may develop severe symptoms from even trace amounts. Baby food is not provided, but you are welcome to bring your own, and staff will warm it for you.
Baths and Onsen
The ryokan's own spring source is a weakly alkaline chloride spring that holds its heat well, so you stay warm after bathing. Babies can bathe in the communal bath, and both the men's and women's changing rooms are stocked with a baby bed, diaper pail, baby soap, baby shower chair and baby bath. Numbers are limited, so guests are asked to share them considerately. If a large bathtub feels daunting, you can use a baby bath instead. Children up to age 6 may use either the men's or the women's bath, while children ages 7 and over use the bath for their own gender. There is no private-hire bath or family bath, so bathing as a family in a private room is not possible. Guests with tattoos cannot use the communal bath or the open-air bath. Some room types come with their own open-air bath, but these in-room open-air baths are not onsen.

Up to 2 children may co-sleep. Elementary school children are charged 70% of the adult rate, and infants under 3 stay free. Yukata are provided free of charge for all children. In summer, from July 18 to September 6, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., staying guests can use the outdoor pool free of charge, with a large pool for adults and a children's pool with a slide. Access
Take the limited express Odoriko from Tokyo Station to Izu-Inatori Station, then a 5-minute shuttle bus ride from the station. Advance reservations are required for the shuttle from the station, but not for the return trip. Parking for 150 cars is available free of charge.
