Overview
Oyado Fugetsumuben is a hot-spring ryokan in Higashiizu-cho, Shizuoka, looking out over Izu Oshima and Sagami Bay from 200 meters above sea level. All 19 rooms have an open-air bath fed directly from the source. Only two room types, the General Room and the General Corner Room, can accept children under junior high school age, and in those rooms both dinner and breakfast are served in the room. Children's amenities and items to borrow are available, but there is no communal bath and no indoor or outdoor pool.

Set on high ground 200 meters above sea level, all 19 guest rooms have an open-air bath fed directly from the source, and they come in five types. Of these, only two can accept children under junior high school age: the General Room (44.7 sq m, for 2 to 3 guests) and the General Corner Room (52.2 sq m, for 2 to 3 guests). In these two types, both dinner and breakfast are served in the room. Bedding consists of two Japanese-style mattresses plus up to one futon, for a maximum of three sets. Child rates are set for the General Room and the General Corner Room. The Special Wing, the second-floor room of the Two-Story Wing and the first-floor room of the Two-Story Wing cannot accept children under junior high school age, and meals for those rooms are served in the private dining room Zakura.

Access
A free shuttle runs to and from the nearest station, Izu-Okawa Station on the Izukyu Line, and no reservation is needed. The shuttle service operates from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. The property has many slopes, and guests move around the grounds by electric cart, though some walking is still involved and wheelchairs cannot be used. There are no vending machines on the grounds and no convenience store within walking distance, so please do any shopping before you arrive. A one-hour late checkout is offered, extending the usual 10 a.m. checkout by an hour.
