The rock bath in the log cabin is built so that the scent of hinoki cypress fills the air, and the watermill-hut bath has a large waterwheel and a waterfall bath (utaseyu). They can be used from after check-in until 10:30 p.m. and from 6 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. the next morning, so a family can get into the tub together with small children.

Izu Kogen Poteri is a pension of just 5 rooms in a villa area of Izu Kogen, with a garden railway running through the grounds. Rooms

Access
The pension is in Yawatano, Ito, Shizuoka. Coming by car from the Tokyo direction, turn right at the Ike-iriguchi traffic light on Route 135. By train, take a bus from Izu-Kogen Station, get off at the Omuro Kogen 7-chome bus stop and walk 5 minutes. Free parking is available for 10 cars. Check-in is from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., and checkout is by 11 a.m. Several sightseeing spots that families can enjoy are nearby, including Izu Granpal Park, Izu Shaboten Park and the Izu Teddy Bear Museum, which works even on a rainy day.
