A station-front retreat of standalone units, 1 minute from Fujisan Station

Inn The Fuji stands just a 1-minute walk from Fujisan Station, which was named as the station closest to Mount Fuji. All 15 rooms are standalone units with their own parking space, so getting the car in and out is easy. It is a convenient base for enjoying the nature and culture at the foot of Mount Fuji. There is no age restriction for children, so families traveling with babies are welcome too.

Rooms with kitchens for a stay on your own terms

There are four room types. Type-A (Standard Twin), with two semi-double beds and a sofa bed, is the main type, alongside Type-B (Japanese-style Twin) with tatami beds, Type-C with four beds, and Type-D for groups. Each sleeps 3 to 4 guests, up to a maximum of 5. Every unit has kitchen facilities well equipped enough for stays of several nights, so you can pick up ingredients at local supermarkets or roadside stations and cook for yourselves. Note that the property does not offer plans that include meals.

Private barrel sauna

Some Type-A rooms and all Type-D rooms have a private barrel sauna built from Finnish timber, available for an additional 12,000 yen per night. With a cold-water plunge bath filled with natural Fuji spring water (90 cm deep) and a place to cool off in the open air, families and friends can enjoy their sauna time without having to worry about other guests. Even if you book a room with a sauna, you can decide at check-in whether to use it.

BBQ, Smart Dining and rental bicycles

In the garden and on the terrace, you can rent a gas BBQ grill for 5,000 yen per night and order a BBQ ingredient set featuring Shinshu beef and other items (from two servings, reserved at least 5 days in advance). The Smart Dining space next to the property has a cashless food corner with frozen-food vending machines, handy late at night or whenever you want a small bite. Electric bicycles are also available to rent from 400 yen per hour, for unhurried rides along the shore of Lake Kawaguchi and around the shrines and temples nearby.

Access and the property

About a 1-minute walk from Fujisan Station on the Fujikyuko Line. From Shinjuku it is about 1 hour 45 minutes either by train or by car. Every room has its own free parking space right in front of it. The entire property is non-smoking, with smoking permitted only in a designated space, and Wi-Fi is free throughout. Pets cannot stay, with the exception of assistance dogs.
