Fuji Base Gotemba sits in a convenient spot, a 3-minute walk from the bus rotary at the Otome-guchi exit of Gotemba Station. The building is a former butcher shop renovated in 2025, and it is run as accommodation where guests can also connect with local restaurants and the surrounding community. Inside, the private rooms are on the second floor (3 rooms in total, sleeping up to 16 people), while the first floor holds the kitchen, living room and bathroom facilities, covering everything from family and friends' trips to workations and long stays. Check-in runs from 3 p.m. until midnight, so it is easy to fit around travel plans.

A shared kitchen and living room for self-catering

The first floor has a kitchen and living room large enough for a group, equipped with cooking utensils, tableware for large numbers, a refrigerator, a microwave, an Aladdin toaster and an electric kettle. Families and groups can pick up takeout from nearby restaurants or stock up at the drugstore and large supermarket close by, then use the kitchen and living room for a party of their own. The living room has a 100-inch projector (compatible with Netflix, Hulu and similar services), Bluetooth audio, a rocking chair and a bookshelf with books and manga, making rainy days and evenings comfortable. High-speed Wi-Fi covers the whole building, so remote work is possible too.

Guest rooms and bathrooms

There are 3 guest rooms: Room Midori ("green"), for 6 guests, 22 sq m, with bunk beds; Room Mizu ("water"), for 6 guests, 22 sq m, with bunk beds; and Room Daichi ("earth"), for 4 guests, 24 sq m, with 4 single beds. Each room has air conditioning and a refrigerator, along with its own private bathroom with a shower. There is no communal bath or onsen. The bathrooms are stocked with face and bath towels, body soap, shampoo, conditioner, a hair dryer, a toothbrush and hand soap, and each has a light-framed vanity mirror.

Facilities that help with children and longer stays

To make longer stays easier, the building has a washing machine, free to use with detergent included, and a gas dryer for a fee. Both are generously sized, so everything from underwear to children's and family clothing can be washed and dried in one go. A crib is available for guest rooms for a fee, so families traveling with a baby can settle in with peace of mind. There is no age restriction, and children can stay. Luggage storage before check-in is also available.

A 3-minute walk from the Otome-guchi exit of Gotemba Station. Parking is available for 3 cars at 500 yen per night (1,000 yen for medium-size vehicles), with reservations required. A cleaning fee of 5,000 yen applies per stay; for consecutive nights, please consult the property.
