Overview

Villa Fuji Bon Voyage Mori is a newly built designer villa rented as a whole, a 4-minute walk from Kawaguchiko Station and about a 5-minute walk from the lakeshore. Across two floors it has three bedrooms, a living room, a dining room and a kitchen, and sleeps up to 10 guests. There is one Japanese-style tatami room with futon bedding and two Western-style bedrooms with beds, so three-generation families and groups can spread out comfortably. Mount Fuji is visible through the large windows, and the view is yours alone as you relax in the living room. A free shuttle from Kawaguchiko Station is also available.

A designer villa rented as a whole

Villa Fuji Bon Voyage Mori is a newly built property in the Lake Kawaguchi area, rented out as an entire house. The two-story building has a generous total floor area of about 73-75 sq m, with three bedrooms, a living room, a dining room and a kitchen. The bedrooms consist of one Japanese-style tatami room with futon bedding and two Western-style rooms with beds, and the villa sleeps up to 10 guests. Three-generation families and groups can take the whole house for themselves.

Insulation, double-glazed window frames and heating and cooling are all built to cold-climate specifications, so the villa stays comfortable around the clock even in the chilly seasons at the foot of Mount Fuji.

A living room with a view of Mount Fuji

Mount Fuji can be seen from the living room's large windows, so you can take in the view from the sofa. Bluetooth audio and designer lighting add to the unhurried feel of the stay.

For families with children and babies

Children of any age can stay, and a crib for ages 0 to 2 is available to borrow free of charge (limited in number; advance request required). The house has a kitchen, refrigerator, microwave, dishes and a washing machine, so you can prepare baby food or wash a baby's clothes and settle in as you would at home — the particular appeal of a whole-house rental. The Japanese-style tatami room with futon bedding also gives babies at the crawling stage a place to spend time on the tatami with peace of mind. Guests aged 3 and over are charged the adult rate.

Access and location

The villa is about a 4-minute walk from Kawaguchiko Station (about 3 minutes by car), and the shore of Lake Kawaguchi is about a 5-minute walk away. Fuji-Q Highland is about 1.9 km away, the Kachi Kachi Yama Ropeway (to Tenjozan Park) is about a 13-minute walk, and the Mount Fuji World Heritage Center is about 2.1 km away, making the villa a good base for exploring Lake Kawaguchi. A free shuttle from Kawaguchiko Station is also available, from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. for check-in and from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. for checkout.
