There are three room types, each combining the dome with a cabin that has a bathroom and toilet: the Japanese-style dome, where 6 futons are laid out, sleeping up to 6 guests; the Japanese-Western dome, with twin beds plus 3 futons, sleeping up to 5; and the pet room, with a bed and a chair bed, for 2 guests. Each tent has its own plot, about 150 sq m for the Japanese-Western dome and about 235 sq m for the Japanese-style dome, so there is space between you and the next tent. Capacity is set by fire safety and other laws, and no extra guests can be added beyond it, so larger families will want the Japanese-style dome. Inside the tent there is air conditioning and Wi-Fi, along with a television, a Bluetooth speaker, an air purifier, a refrigerator and a kettle, and the toilet has a washing function. The bathroom and toilet in the cabin are reached without stepping outside, so if a child wakes in the night needing the toilet, there is no need to go out. Breakfast starts at 7:45 a.m. and features a special sandwich made with local vegetables, along with soup, yogurt and dessert, and you can also make hot sandwiches on the grill. Each deck has a roof and side covers, so you can eat there in the rain, though in heavy rain or other conditions where danger is expected the arrangements are discussed with you, and the dining location may be changed depending on the weather. Up to 7 people can eat together on one of the decks with guests from another tent, which suits three-generation trips. There is no information about smaller portions or shared dishes for children. About 17 minutes by bus from Izu Kogen Station, then a 1-minute walk from the Shaboten Koen-mae bus stop. Parking for 20 cars is free and needs no reservation. No shuttle service is offered. Check-in is from 3 p.m.; guests on a two-meal plan should arrive by 6 p.m. so that dinner can be prepared, and guests on a breakfast-only plan by 8 p.m. Checkout is at 11 a.m., and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. the site is closed for cleaning, so except for guests staying consecutive nights you cannot enter during those hours; you can, however, still enter the adjoining Izu Shaboten Zoo and Mount Omuro during that time. From 9 a.m., before check-in, the front desk will hold your luggage. Izu Shaboten Zoo is a 3-minute walk away, the Mount Omuro chairlift is a 3-minute walk, and Izu Granpal Park is 5 minutes by car.
