The private garden on the grounds has a covered barbecue area, a glamping tent, a hammock, a forest hut, a swing and a slackline. Because the villa is rented whole, the space belongs to your family and friends alone, and children can run around freely. Handheld fireworks are also allowed until 9 p.m. from March to November; you may bring your own barbecue grill and handheld fireworks, with a cleaning fee of 1,100 yen.

Liburan Fuji Narusawa is a whole-villa rental about 8 minutes by car from the Kawaguchiko IC, with only two buildings set in about 5,000 sq m of forest. The spacious layout combines a 21-tatami living-dining-kitchen area, a Japanese-style tatami room and a second-floor lounge, and comes with a covered barbecue area, a glamping tent, a hammock, a swing and a slackline. Three-generation families also receive a benefit that lets one child stay free of charge.
Liburan Fuji Narusawa is a private villa that opened as a new build in July 2017, in the forest of Narusawa-mura, about 5 km along Route 139 from the Kawaguchiko IC toward Lake Motosu. Only two buildings, Liburan Sora Terrace and Liburan Hoshi Terrace, stand on the roughly 5,000 sq m of grounds, each with its own private garden of about 1,500 sq m. Each villa is rented whole, a hideaway where friends and family can stay without worrying about other guests.
Rooms
Each villa has two floors. The first floor holds a 21-tatami living-dining-kitchen area and a Japanese-style tatami room, along with a bath, a toilet with a washlet, a washbasin and a changing room, and the terrace looks out over the forest. The second floor has a 12-tatami Japanese-style tatami room plus a 5-tatami stargazing lounge, a Western-style room with Simmons beds, and a toilet with a washlet and a washbasin. The layout is roomy enough for large families and three-generation trips. The buildings measure 117 sq m (Sora Terrace) and 123 sq m (Hoshi Terrace), and up to 13 guests can stay.
Facilities
The villas are thoroughly equipped: heating and air conditioning in the living-dining-kitchen area and in each room, a large TV with Netflix and YouTube, a Blu-ray player, a Bose speaker with built-in Bluetooth, an island kitchen, an air purifier, a refrigerator, a microwave, a toaster oven, a rice cooker, a coffee maker and a blender, plus a full set of cooking utensils and tableware. The amenities are generous too: bath towels (for adults), nightwear (for adults), face towels (2 for children), body soap, 3 kinds of shampoo, 3 kinds of conditioner, facial cleanser, toner, milky lotion and a range of bath salts. For children there are 2 face towels and a toothbrush.
Items to Borrow
There is a wide range of items families can borrow free of charge, including a crib, a children's chair, a cooler box, mosquito coils, a sewing kit, a first-aid kit, a phone charger, an HDMI cable and a Bluetooth stereo system. Guests are also free to use the coffee machine at the front desk (espresso and cafe latte), large platters for parties, insect repellent spray, and play equipment and card games.
Activities
Outdoors, the grounds offer a covered barbecue area, a glamping tent, a hammock, a forest hut, a swing and a slackline. Barbecuing is from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., or until 9 p.m. from November to March. There is also a plan for arranging ingredients, and the villa can place orders on your behalf for catering using local ingredients, a visiting chef (Chinese, Japanese or Western cuisine), or Japanese-style hors d'oeuvre platters. From mid-July through August you can go blueberry picking at a partner farm (1,000 yen for adults, 500 yen for elementary school children, 200 yen for children under school age).
Baths and Onsen
Each villa building comes with an open-air bath, available from mid-March to late November and closed in winter. For bathing in winter, a special discount ticket is provided for Fuji Chobo no Yu Yurari, 2 km away (1,400 yen down to 800 yen on weekdays), so you can go to the day-use onsen without having to bring anything with you.

Rates are charged per villa, at the same price for up to 8 guests. For three-generation families, one child stays free of charge; co-sleeping for children under the age of 2 is a flat 1,650 yen regardless of the day of the week; and for parties of more than 10 guests, children aged 2 and over who have not yet started elementary school pay 50% of the adult rate, while elementary school children pay 70%. Early check-in from 1 p.m. and late checkout can also be arranged outside busy periods.
Supermarkets such as Ogino, Selva and Maxvalu are close by, along with convenience stores including the Lawson Narusawa store and the Seven-Eleven Otawa store, which makes longer family stays easy. Parties for university students are not accepted, so the quiet atmosphere is preserved.
