Baths and Onsen
There are 2 communal baths and 2 open-air baths. The spring water is transported from Sakakibara Onsen, and it is an alkaline simple onsen (hypotonic, alkaline, low-temperature spring), heated and treated with recirculating filtration. The communal baths and open-air baths are open from 3 p.m. to midnight and from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m., with hours subject to change for cleaning. There are also a dry sauna and a wet sauna, open from 3 p.m. to midnight and from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. There is no private-hire bath. Babies and toddlers who are not yet out of diapers cannot get into the bathtubs, and a baby bath is provided instead. Children aged 7 and over or 120 cm and taller must use the bath matching their own gender, so it is worth thinking ahead about whether your older child can bathe alone. Towels are set out in the bathing areas, so you do not need to bring any from your room. Guests with tattoos may use the communal baths only if the tattoos can be completely covered with the cover seals specified by the hotel, which carry a charge.
