On plans where dinner is a kaiseki course, elementary school children are served a kaiseki course for children and children under school age are served a children's set meal. The children's kaiseki course is the same menu the adults have booked, priced at 70% of the adult plan rate (excluding the 150 yen bathing tax). The children's set meal for children under school age is 50% of the adult plan rate (excluding the 150 yen bathing tax). On buffet plans, children aged 3 to 6 who have not yet started elementary school pay 50% of the adult rate, and children aged 0 to 2 pay an accommodation charge of 1,650 yen.

There is a diaper bin, plus a baby bed and a baby chair in the communal bath. A microwave sterilizing case for baby bottles is available by asking the front desk, and a toilet-training seat can be borrowed as well. Children's yukata come in large 120 cm and small 100 cm sizes, with a separate charge of 220 yen when used by a child under school age.

Families with babies and toddlers may bring baby food. If it needs warming or anything similar, just ask at the front desk or in the restaurant; no further procedure is described. For allergy-friendly menus, please contact the hotel when booking.

The communal bath of the natural onsen Shioka no Yu is equipped with a baby bed, a baby chair, a shower chair and a shower wheelchair. No bath towels are provided there, so bring the bath towel from your room. There is no private-hire bath.

There are 8-mat Japanese-style tatami rooms (up to 4 guests), 10-mat rooms (45 sq m, up to 5 guests) and 15-mat rooms (52 sq m, up to 7 guests), as well as the Japanese-style twin (33 sq m, a Ryukyu-tatami room with 2 beds), the Japanese-Western room (with bath, 52 sq m) and the Family Suite with an ocean-view terrace (57 sq m, up to 5 guests). In the Japanese-Western room, one of the 2 beds is a parent-and-child bed. The Family Suite is listed on Rakuten Travel under the name Family Room (57 sq m) as a room for 3 to 5 guests.
