A communal bath and open-air bath fed by a mildly alkaline simple onsen (a hypotonic, mildly alkaline, high-temperature spring, pH 8.3). A lukewarm indoor bath and a washing area with no partitions are thoughtful touches for families with children. Both the men's and women's baths have a sauna and a cold-water bath, with baby chairs always on hand.
