Ooedo Onsen Monogatari hotels for families with kids

Co-sleeping (under 3)

Children under 3 can co-sleep for free (¥1,100 at Reoma no Mori only). If a child under 3 needs a futon or bed, there is an extra charge of ¥2,200. Children age 3 and older cannot be booked as co-sleeping.

Children's rates

Children age 3 and older but under junior high school age pay a children's rate that includes a futon (the amount varies with the number of guests, the stay date, and the booking date). Junior high school age and older pay the adult rate.

Communal bath and kids

There is no age limit for bathing, and children can get into the communal bath tubs from age 0. Mixed bathing is not allowed for children age 7 and older or 120 cm and taller.

Meals

Children eat the same buffet as adults. Baby food is available (for ages 7 months, 9 months, and 12 months and up; not at Yamashiro Saichoraku or Yamanaka Saichoraku). The restaurants have kids' chairs.

Rooms and amenities

Small children can also stay in rooms with beds (whether beds can be moved and whether bed guards are available varies by hotel). Kids' yukata come in two sizes, 105 cm and 95 cm.
