Overview

Mt. Fuji Kuretakeso Seisui is an onsen lodging of two-story buildings, each rented as a whole, set to open on January 1, 2027, a 1-minute walk from JR Fujinomiya Station. Each building is a maisonette of more than 90 sq m with a 2LDK layout (two rooms plus a living, dining and kitchen area), sleeping 2 to 10 guests. The ground floor has a natural onsen semi-open-air bath and a kitchen, and dinner is not served. Co-sleeping children under school age are included in the guest count. There is no communal bath or private-hire bath, and pajamas and yukata are not provided for children.

Rooms

There are 10 buildings in all, each a two-story building rented as a whole, and every one is a maisonette of more than 90 sq m with a 2LDK layout (two rooms plus a living, dining and kitchen area). There are three types: Standard (95 sq m), Pet Friendly (95 sq m) and Universal Suite (110 sq m). Rakuten Travel lists all three as Japanese-Western rooms. The Universal Suite comes with floor heating and an elevator. Every building sleeps 2 to 10 guests, and the upstairs bedroom has 4 double beds and 2 sets of single futon bedding. You lay out the futons yourselves. Upstairs there is a washbasin, a bathroom, a toilet and a washing machine with a dryer; downstairs there is the living room, the kitchen, the semi-open-air bath, a toilet and a large 75-inch TV. On the plan without breakfast (plan period January 1 to April 30, 2027), the rate for one building is 49,500 to 99,000 yen for Standard, 54,500 to 104,000 yen for Pet Friendly and 59,500 to 109,000 yen for Universal Suite, all including consumption tax. You cannot request a specific building. All rooms are non-smoking, including electronic cigarettes.

Dining

Dinner is not served. On plans with breakfast, a sandwich set of salad, soup, sandwiches, fruit, and Asagiri milk and orange juice is left in your building's refrigerator, so you can eat in the building at whatever time you like in the morning. Each building has a fitted kitchen with a 3-burner induction cooktop, cooking utensils, a microwave and a refrigerator, so you can bring your own ingredients and cook. Seasonings are not provided, so you will need to bring them. With no set mealtimes, you can eat on your children's schedule. There is no published information on a children's menu or allergy accommodation.

Baths and Onsen

The ground floor of each building has a natural onsen semi-open-air bath with a tub made of Towada stone. The water is from the Fuji Hakkei spring, and the type of spring water is a simple onsen (hypotonic, weakly alkaline, low-temperature). There is also a bathroom upstairs, and shampoo, conditioner and other toiletries are provided in each building's bathroom. Every building also has its own private sauna. There is no communal bath, and no private-hire bath or family bath either. Because all the baths are inside your building, you can bathe with your children without worrying about other guests. Whether children in diapers can use the semi-open-air bath is not stated, so please check with the hotel. A bathing tax of 150 yen per person is charged separately.

Family-Friendly Features

Co-sleeping children under school age are included in the guest count, and the set capacity covers co-sleeping children too. If your group exceeds the capacity, the booking may be canceled even after it has been confirmed. Child rates are available, but the age brackets and amounts are not listed in our information. Room-only plans on Rakuten Travel are priced per building, so adding elementary school children or younger children to the guest count does not change the price. On plans with breakfast, adding children raises the rate accordingly. The upper age limit for co-sleeping and the availability of cribs or bed guards are not listed in our information either, so please confirm with the hotel if you need them. Pajamas and yukata are not provided for children, so please bring your own. On multi-night stays there is no cleaning or towel change during your stay, but there is a washing machine with a dryer upstairs. Check-in is from 3 p.m., and you cannot enter the building before 3 p.m. If you arrive early, the neighboring Kuretake Inn Premium Fujinomiya Ekimae can hold your luggage. Check-in is done on a tablet inside the building, and guests are asked to check in by 8 p.m.; if you will be later, please contact the hotel in advance. Checkout is at 10 a.m. and can be extended by up to 1 hour, until 11 a.m., for 5,500 yen per hour (tax included). Payment is by prepayment only.

Access

A 1-minute walk from JR Fujinomiya Station. The parking lot has 11 spaces, for standard-size cars only. One space is set aside for each building, and staying guests can park one car free of charge. If you are coming with 2 or more cars, please let the hotel know in advance. Asagiri Kogen, a highland area in the city, has places where you can enjoy leisure activities such as farm experiences.
