HANZ OUTDOOR RESORT KAWAGUCHIKO is a glamping resort at Lake Kawaguchi, at the foot of Mount Fuji. The accommodation is divided into villas with their own private jacuzzi, the PAO dome tents, and RESIDENCE, a whole-house rental in a traditional house more than 100 years old that was relocated and restored, so each party stays in its own separate building. Natural hot spring water flows straight from the source at Tenkei Chijun Fuji no Motoyu, which has a communal bath as well as an open-air bath. The booking form offers two categories for children: elementary school children, and young children aged 0 to 5 with futon bedding. Because the concept is that guests enjoy the outdoors themselves, there is no restaurant, and meals are a BBQ in your room or on your terrace plus a skillet breakfast. There is no nursing room and no place to change diapers.

On Rakuten Travel the villas are listed as having a shower and toilet, and PAO has a shower building described as a Private Shower Room. Whether children who are not yet out of diapers may get into the baths is not stated, so please confirm with the property in advance.

A free shuttle service from Kawaguchiko Station runs on weekdays only, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., by advance reservation, which must be arranged by 3 days before check-in. Check-in is from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and checkout is at 10 a.m.; if you will arrive after 5 p.m., please contact the property. The curfew is 11:30 p.m. Late checkout is possible for an additional fee.
