Hanare no Yu is a semi-open-air bath whose large windows open fully, so you can take in Lake Yamanaka and Mount Fuji at the same time. Mantenboshi no Yu prides itself on its sauna, with a loyly sauna, a cold plunge bath and an outdoor cool-down area with a spectacular view; both the men's and women's baths have an open-air bath.
- •Children who are not yet out of diapers (not yet toilet-trained) may enter the communal bath, but are asked to refrain from getting into the tubs. They can be washed using the baby bath provided in the changing room, filled with hot water.
