Rooms

There are 13 room types. Most are soothing Japanese-style tatami rooms, and guests can also choose high-grade rooms with a massage chair or Japanese-Western rooms with a twin bedroom. The East, West and North Wings each have one special room, well suited to anniversaries and trips with three generations of a family. The high-grade rooms in the North Wing are 10 tatami mats for 2 to 5 guests and are the closest of all to the communal baths. The corner rooms in the North Wing and the top-floor rooms with an adjoining second room are 12.5 tatami mats for 2 to 8 guests, and come with a massage chair and a coffee set. The Japanese-style tatami room with a bedroom on the top floor of the North Wing consists of a 12.5-tatami room plus a twin bedroom and sleeps 2 to 6 guests. The standard rooms in the South Wing are 10 tatami mats plus a hiroen sitting area by the window, for up to 5 guests. The West Wing has rooms with a bedroom (10 tatami mats plus a bedroom, for up to 7 guests) as well as Western-style twin rooms of about 8 tatami mats for up to 2 guests. For groups, there is also a large room of two connecting rooms, 15 tatami mats plus 7.5 tatami mats, for up to 10 guests. In rooms with beds, when 3 or more guests stay, 2 of them use the beds and futon bedding is laid out for everyone else. The VIP suite Oimatsu no Ma on the top floor of the East Wing is 150 sq m and sleeps up to 8 guests. It has a private dining room and the only semi-open-air bath among all the guest rooms that is supplied with Kinsen.
