Guest rooms

There are 13 room types, centered on soothing Japanese-style tatami rooms, along with high-grade rooms equipped with massage chairs and Japanese-Western rooms with twin-bed rooms. Special rooms available just one each in the East, West and North Wings are recommended for anniversaries and trips with three generations of a family. The North Wing high-grade rooms are 10 tatami mats and accommodate 2-5 guests, with the closest location to the communal baths. Corner rooms in the North Wing and rooms with an adjoining room on the top floor are 12.5 tatami mats and accommodate 2-8 guests; they include massage chairs and coffee sets. The Japanese-style tatami rooms with bedrooms on the top floor of the North Wing consist of a 12.5-tatami Japanese-style room and a twin-bed room, accommodating 2-6 guests. Standard rooms in the South Wing are 10 tatami mats plus a hiroen sitting area by the window, with a capacity of 5 guests. The West Wing has 10-tatami rooms plus a bedroom with a capacity of 7 guests, as well as Western-style twin rooms of about 8 tatami mats with a capacity of 2 guests. For groups, there are large rooms with two adjoining rooms measuring 15 tatami mats plus 7.5 tatami mats, accommodating up to 10 guests. In rooms with beds, when 3 or more guests stay, 2 guests use the beds and futon bedding is provided for the remaining guests. The VIP suite "Oimatsu no Ma" on the top floor of the East Wing measures 150 square meters and accommodates up to 8 guests. It has a private dining room and the only semi-open-air bath among all guest rooms supplied with Kinsen.
