A 25 m by 10 m outdoor pool open in summer only. It has a children's pool and the Aqua Play Corner for children. There is no age restriction for the children's pool, but children of elementary school age and under must be accompanied by a guardian. For children of staying guests (aged 4 and over), the charge is 1,650 yen on weekdays and 2,200 yen on weekends and public holidays. In 2026 the pool is open from July 18 to August 31.

Hotel Okura Kobe is a 35-story high-rise hotel in Kobe's Meriken Park. It stands right beside Kobe Port Tower, and the guest rooms look out on a different view of Kobe to the north, south, east and west. Children aged 12 and under stay free when co-sleeping, and family facilities include items to borrow such as cribs and bed guards, a children's corner on the lobby floor and a kids' play area on the first floor. There is no communal bath or onsen, and guest-room bathrooms are generally combined bath-and-toilet units.
Rooms
Guest rooms are spread across three zones: the Main Floors (floors 6 to 15), the Authentic Floors (floors 16 to 27, all non-smoking) and the Sky View Floors (floors 28 to 33). Standard Rooms (27-29 sq m) face east or west, and Deluxe Rooms (37 sq m) face north or south. In the Deluxe Rooms, twin beds measure 110-120 cm by 200 cm and double beds 180 cm by 200 cm; in the Standard Rooms, twin beds measure 110 cm by 200 cm and double beds 160-180 cm by 200 cm. For three guests, one extra bed can be provided for an additional 6,325 yen, and connecting rooms, where two neighboring rooms open onto each other, sleep up to 6 guests. The Japanese-Western rooms on the 6th floor (58-75 sq m) are shoes-off rooms with a bathroom that has a separate washing area.

Breakfast is a Japanese and Western buffet at 3,800 yen, including tax and service charge. Children aged 4 to 12 pay 1,900 yen, and children aged 3 and under eat free. The restaurants accommodate allergies as far as they can, so you can discuss your needs with them in advance. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Motomachi Station on the JR and Hanshin lines, and 7 minutes by car from JR Sannomiya Station and Hankyu-Hanshin Sannomiya Station. Parking costs 1,500 yen per night, needs no reservation, and can be used from the morning of your check-in day. A free shuttle bus runs daily between Sannomiya Bus Terminal and the hotel, and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays it also stops at Shin-Kobe Station. Early check-in and late checkout are available on request.
