Can babies and young children use the baths?

The baths are well set up for small children. The property has gender-separated open-air baths and two private-hire open-air baths (note: the private-hire baths are not onsen water). Baby beds are placed in the changing areas of the communal bath, the open-air baths and the private-hire baths, and children's bath chairs and cribs are also provided. Four family suite rooms - 'Hyotan,' 'Sora,' 'En' and 'Hana' - even have their own onsen open-air bath in the room.

Is there a pool for kids?

Yes. There's a temperature-controlled indoor heated pool (4m x 10m) that's open year-round, plus an outdoor 'Forest Pool' in summer. Part of the pool area is kept quite shallow for young children, and rental of swim rings, arm rings, kickboards and swimsuits is available. Children who are not yet toilet-trained are asked to wear swim diapers, which can be purchased at the inn's gift shop if needed. A guardian must accompany children in the pool.

What baby food and dining options are available?

It's about a 10-minute walk from Kobe Electric Railway Arima Onsen Station (a free shuttle runs to and from the Arima Onsen town area at check-in and check-out), or about 30 minutes by car from central Kobe. There are 30 free on-site parking spaces with no reservation needed. Checkout can be extended until 11 a.m. for a fee of JPY 3,300 per hour for guests of elementary-school age or older, and JPY 2,200 per hour for preschool-age guests.
