There are 29 guest rooms in total, in two categories: standard rooms and rooms with an open-air bath. The standard rooms come in 6 types: the 6-tatami Otona no Himitsu Kichi, Japanese-style tatami rooms of 9.5 tatami plus 2 tatami (39.26 sq m), 10 tatami plus 2 tatami (39.88 sq m) and 12 tatami plus 2 tatami (49.95 sq m), and Ezo Sumire no Ma (39.46 sq m), whose in-room bath is fed with gold-spring water and can be used 24 hours a day. The 10-tatami-plus-2-tatami standard rooms sleep up to 5 guests, making them ideal for a trip with family or friends. There are 5 rooms with an open-air bath on the 6th floor, each with its own gold-spring open-air bath available 24 hours a day. The largest of them, Karatachi no Ma, is 105.43 sq m, sleeps up to 6 guests and is barrier-free.
Dining
Dinner is a kaiseki course made with seasonal ingredients and is generally served in your room. Breakfast is served at the Hanasanpo dining area from 7:30, 8:00 or 8:30, and guests staying in rooms with an open-air bath have breakfast in their room as well. All 20 seats in the dining area are chair-and-table seating, and there are 8 completely private rooms. For children there is a kids' menu arranged in a flower basket, from 4,400 yen, and a baby chair is available to borrow for meals in the room. Requests to specify ingredients for food allergies are generally not accepted, but guests with a severe allergy can be accommodated if they notify the ryokan when booking. Requests made on the day of arrival cannot be accommodated.

There are 2 communal baths, Hanagasumi and Hanagoyomi, and both offer the gold spring and the silver spring, with the men's and women's baths swapped between morning and evening. Hours are 6 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and noon to midnight. The tubs have handrails. Children in the second grade of elementary school and under must be accompanied by a guardian. The private-hire open-air bath Hanagokoro is available by reservation in 45-minute sessions, at 2,200 yen per adult, for 2 or more guests, and 1,100 yen for children ages 3 to 12, through the sixth grade of elementary school. The communal baths are also stocked with a baby chair, a baby bath and a cradle.
Family-Friendly Features
Co-sleeping is not available. Children's accommodation rates are 70% of the adult rate for children in the upper grades of elementary school, and 50% of the adult rate for children in the lower grades of elementary school and for preschool-age children from age 3 up to elementary school age; meals for preschool-age children are a children's set meal (a kids' meal). Preschool-age children who do not need futon bedding or a yukata are charged an in-house use fee of 3,300 yen, and children under 3 are generally free of charge without futon bedding or a yukata. Depending on the accommodation plan, children ages 3 to under 7 may also be charged a separate facility use fee of 3,000 yen before tax. There are no steps inside the building, so it is easy to get around with a stroller. Several hospitals are nearby, including Kobe Adventist Hospital, about 8 minutes away by car.
Access
The ryokan is about a 10-minute walk from Arima Onsen Station on the Kobe Electric Railway. A free shuttle runs to the station and the bus stop, but there is no waiting area, so please call after you arrive. Free parking is available for 50 cars on a first-come, first-served basis, and the parking area also has a charging station for electric vehicles. Checkout is at 10 a.m. Some plans allow you to stay until 2:30 p.m.
