Saginoyu Onsen Saginoyuso is an onsen ryokan in Saginoyu Onsen where the water flows straight from the source. It stands right beside the Adachi Museum of Art and has 20 guest rooms. Rooms
The ryokan offers a varied selection of rooms, mainly Japanese-style tatami rooms. Nagomi no Sato is a 14-tatami-mat Japanese-style room for 1 to 5 guests. The Mori no Yakata rooms Sakura, Sugi and Kiri are spacious 10-mat plus 6-mat Japanese-style rooms for 2 to 5 guests, looking out over the garden and the surrounding farmland; they are on the second floor and reached by stairs. Kimori is a 12.5-mat Japanese-style room with a dining table and a balcony, for up to 4 guests. On the second floor of the main building, the Japanese-style bed rooms Eiraku, Wakana and Kagura each have 2 beds measuring 120 cm wide by 200 cm long by 30 cm high, for 1 to 3 guests. Ume, the room with its own garden open-air bath, is 70 sq m (10 mats plus 6 mats plus a nureen outer veranda) and sleeps 1 to 5 guests; futon bedding is standard, but simple beds can be prepared on request. Dinner is served in the room for parties of up to 2 guests, and in a separate room for 3 or more. Some rooms do not face the garden.

Dinner is served in your room or in a separate private room, and breakfast is served in a large hall with a fine view of the garden. On the family plan, which welcomes children, dinner for children is a kids' meal of onigiri rice balls, Hamburg steak, fried shrimp, a boiled egg, salad, potatoes, sausage, karaage fried chicken and dessert, and breakfast is a Japanese set meal of Nita rice, shijimi clam miso soup, overnight-dried flounder, yudofu simmered tofu, an onsen egg, salad and nori seaweed. Baby food is not normally prepared, but rice porridge or udon can be arranged on request, and the staff will also warm baby food you bring and set out tableware. Allergies are accommodated as far as possible, so letting the ryokan know in advance gives you peace of mind.
Baths and Onsen
The spring water is a radioactive sodium-calcium chloride and sulfate spring, and every bath in the building is fed directly from the source without recirculation. The open-air bath and the communal bath can be used from check-in until 9 a.m. the next morning. There are two private-hire baths, Iwaro and Hakuro. From 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. they are by reservation, and from 10 p.m. onward they can be used whenever they are free, until 9 a.m. the next morning; either way, use is free for 50 minutes. The Hakuro private-hire bath has a baby bed in the changing room and a roomy washing area, which suits bathing as a family. The 54°C source water is diluted with water in summer only.

The ryokan is 15 minutes by bus from JR Yasugi Station and 10 minutes from the Yasugi IC on the San'in Expressway. Parking is free, with space for 50 cars. By air, it is 45 minutes by car from Yonago Airport and 50 minutes by car from Izumo Airport. The Adachi Museum of Art is a 1-minute walk away.
