There are 2 of them - Orihime on the 2nd floor, built entirely of hinoki cypress, and Hikoboshi on the 1st floor, built of black granite - and they swap between men and women in the morning and evening, so guests can use both. Bathing hours are 3 p.m. to 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. to 9 a.m., with cleaning from 1 a.m. to 5 a.m.

The ryokan is about 10 minutes by car from the Tamatsukuri Interchange on the San'in Expressway, with free parking for 100 cars; staff move your car to the parking lot on arrival. A shuttle from JR Tamatsukuri Onsen Station or the Tamatsukuri highway bus stop runs between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. with advance notice. Check-in is at 3 p.m., with last check-in at 7 p.m., and checkout is at 10 a.m. If you will arrive before 3 p.m., for example because of train times, the room can be prepared earlier if you give advance notice, and checkout can be extended past 10 a.m. for 1,500 yen plus tax per hour if you ask when booking or on arrival. If you drive an electric vehicle, charging is available for overnight guests only; it requires advance reservation and a facility fee of 2,200 yen (tax included) per use. The charging connector is J1772 only, so if your car uses a different connector, please bring your own adapter.
