Oiso Prince Hotel
forumWhat families say
Rakuten Travel rating 4.45 out of 5 (1,636 reviews). Many guests report thoroughly enjoying the infinity pool and the spa, and families rate the hotel highly as well. The omelets made at the breakfast live kitchen also drew praise. On the other hand, some guests found the rooms small or dated, with one writing that the rooms are very small and that they weren't sure they would call them comfortable.

Overview
Oiso Prince Hotel is a resort hotel in Oiso, Kanagawa, about an hour from central Tokyo. Its 305 rooms come in 8 types, and the property has the outdoor pool complex Oiso Long Beach in summer and the onsen and spa facility THERMAL SPA S.WAVE year-round. Children ages 0 to 5 stay free when co-sleeping, and cribs and children's menus are available. Note that children who are not yet out of diapers are asked to refrain from using the onsen, and there is no childcare service or kids' program.
Rooms
All 305 rooms come in 8 types and are non-smoking. The Mountain View Twin (19.8 sq m) sleeps 2, while family options include the Ocean View Twin (28.6 sq m), which sleeps up to 4 with two beds plus an extra bed and a sofa bed; the 60.4 sq m Long Beach Suite, where you can go barefoot; and the Oiso Suite, also 60.4 sq m, for up to 4 guests. Co-sleeping is free for children ages 0 to 5, and children ages 6 and over are not accepted for co-sleeping. There are 9 cribs, though they cannot be used in some room types. Because there is a night table between the beds, two beds cannot be pushed together, but bed guards are available to borrow in limited numbers; note your request in the message field when booking.
Dining
Breakfast is a Japanese and Western buffet, and some restaurants also offer a children's menu. Meals accommodating food allergies can be arranged. Meals at the restaurants carry a separate charge from age 3. A children's rate is set for children ages 6 to under 12 booked on a plan that includes meals; on room-only plans the rate is charged per room, so no children's rate is set.
Baths and Onsen
The onsen floor on the 3rd floor has one open-air bath and one indoor bath for each gender, fed by the Oiso Onsen source, and the 8.5-meter open-air bath looks out over the Pacific Ocean. Children who are not yet out of diapers are asked to refrain from using the onsen, but there are 2 private-hire baths (FUJI and OSHIMA) for families or same-gender groups, and children who are not yet out of diapers may use these. THERMAL SPA S.WAVE is presented as an adult-oriented spa facility, and the 4th-floor spa floor, with a swimwear-only infinity pool and saunas, is normally for ages 12 and over. Until March 31, 2027, the hotel is running a limited-time experience, Kodomo to Issho ni Zekkei Taiken (taking in the spectacular view together with your children), which lets children ages 4 to under 12 use the floor when accompanied by a guardian. Kids-size rental swimsuits are not available for this experience, and children wearing diapers or swim pants cannot enter.
