Nature play and harvesting on the grounds

On the spacious grounds surrounded by flower fields, families can pick strawberries, grapes, apples, tomatoes and other fruit and vegetables. With the swing in the forest, stargazing through an astronomical telescope and wild-vegetable gathering in spring, there is plenty of Hokkaido nature to enjoy with children.

The annex cottage and the baths

The annex, called the Cottage, is a separate building with four double beds and its own private bath and toilet. The triple and superior rooms in the main building share a bath and shower, but if one group books all three rooms, the family can bathe without worrying about other guests. There is no communal bath or onsen on the property.

Ritz Garden Niji is a small three-room pension surrounded by flower fields, standing close to the Shikisai-no-oka garden in Biei. One group can book the whole property, and the annex cottage has its own private bath and toilet. Ritz Garden Niji (formerly Pension Niji) is a small pension and restaurant with three rooms in Biei, Hokkaido. It stands surrounded by flower fields, including the well-known sightseeing garden Shikisai-no-oka, so guests wake to a panorama of blossoming meadows. The property's name was renewed in 2024, and it continues to operate as a pension.

There are three room types. The triple rooms Atsuko and Reiko and the superior room Ritsuko share a bath, shower and toilet with the other rooms, with one bathroom on the second floor and one shower on the first floor. The annex, called the Cottage, is a separate building with four double beds and its own private bath and toilet. One group can also book all three rooms, for a stay shared only with your own family or group.

Families can pick fruit and vegetables such as strawberries, grapes, apples and tomatoes, try the swing in the forest, look at the night sky through an astronomical telescope, and gather wild vegetables in spring, all of which make it easy to enjoy Hokkaido's nature together with children. Four electric bicycles are available to borrow, and there is also a tree tent, a summer rose bath (July to September, for staying guests only) and a barbecue garden. Shuttle service to and from Bibaushi Station and Biei Station is available at check-in and checkout.

A handmade breakfast for staying guests is available with advance reservation. There is no communal bath, onsen or pool on the property, so bathing is done in the bath in your room or in the cottage.
