Imagine Hotel Resort Hakodate is the resort hotel closest to the sea in Hakodate's Yunokawa Onsen. Alongside a communal bath and an observation open-air bath fed straight from the source, it has a good range of facilities for babies and young children, including baby-item rentals and a kids' area. Rooms
Guest rooms are spread across 4 buildings, so you can choose to suit your group size and the purpose of your stay. The ocean-view rooms on the sea side come in 3 types: 10, 12.5 and 15 tatami mats (one tatami mat is about 1.6 sq m). They suit families and groups well. The hotel's only bed-type room is a 38 sq m Japanese-Western room with beds using Simmons mattresses measuring 120 × 195 cm. If you would like a Japanese-Western or Western-style room with beds, you need to book by specifying that room type; it cannot be specified on plans where the hotel assigns the room. The Japanese-style tatami rooms on the town side and the parking side have independent heating and cooling, in 5 types ranging from 10 to 20 tatami mats. Most room types for 2 to 5 guests have a child rate, but some rooms for 1 to 2 guests, such as the twin rooms, do not. Staff start laying out the futons from 5:30 p.m., room by room. On consecutive-night stays the rooms are normally cleaned, but you can confirm at check-in whether you would like cleaning; on some plans cleaning may not be provided. All guest rooms have been non-smoking since March 1, 2024.

Dinner and breakfast are both buffets at the restaurant Kukuru. Dinner is from 5:30 to 9 p.m., with last orders for drinks at 8:30 p.m., and breakfast is from 7 to 9 a.m.; last entry for each is 30 minutes before closing. The dinner buffet includes all-you-can-eat red snow crab, along with dishes popular with children such as a chocolate fountain, fried chicken and fried shrimp. Baby food is not served, but you may bring your own into the venue, and the dinner venue staff will warm it in a microwave if you ask; there is also a microwave in the public space. Allergen labeling covers the 9 items that must be labeled plus up to 20 further items for which labeling is recommended.
