Overview
Located in Hakodate Yunokawa Onsen, Imagine Hotel Resort Hakodate is the resort hotel closest to the sea. In addition to its source-fed communal bath and observation open-air bath, it offers a wide range of baby and child-friendly features, including baby items available to borrow and a kids' area. Rooms
The guest rooms are divided among 4 buildings, with options to suit the number of guests and the purpose of the stay. Ocean-view rooms on the sea side come in 3 types: 10-, 12.5-, and 15-tatami rooms (one tatami mat is about 1.6 m²), making them suitable for families and groups. The only bed-type room at the hotel is a 38-square-meter Japanese-western room with beds featuring Simmons mattresses measuring 120 × 195 cm. Guests who want a Japanese-western or Western-style room with beds need to select that room type when booking; room types cannot be requested on plans where the hotel assigns the room. Japanese-style rooms on the town side and parking side have independent heating and cooling, with 5 types ranging from 10 to 20 tatami. Many room types for 2 to 5 guests have child rates, but some rooms for 1 to 2 guests, such as twin rooms, do not. Staff begin laying out the futons in order from 5:30 p.m. During consecutive stays, rooms are normally cleaned, but guests can indicate at check-in whether cleaning is needed. Some plans may not include cleaning. All guest rooms have been nonsmoking since March 1, 2024.
Dining
Dinner and breakfast are served buffet-style at the restaurant Kukuru. Dinner is from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m., with last orders for drinks at 8:30 p.m., and breakfast is from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m. Final entry for each is 30 minutes before closing. The dinner buffet offers all-you-can-eat red snow crab, along with children's favorites such as a chocolate fountain, fried chicken, and fried shrimp. Baby food is not provided, but guests may bring it to the dining area and ask the dinner staff to warm it in a microwave. A microwave is also available in a shared common area. Allergen labeling covers the 9 items that require labeling and up to 20 further allergens for which labeling is recommended. However, because the food is prepared in the same kitchen and served buffet-style, complete allergen removal cannot be provided.

The first-floor communal bath, Nagomi no Yu, has a bubble bath and a sauna, including a self-service löyly sauna (guests ladle water over the hot stones themselves); the eighth-floor observation open-air bath, Usukeshi no Yu, does not. Both baths draw water straight from the source with some fresh water added, and Usukeshi no Yu also has an indoor hinoki (Japanese cypress) tub. The communal bath and observation open-air bath are available from 3:00 p.m. to midnight and from 5:00 to 10:00 a.m. the following day.
