Water is released automatically every 10 minutes, and you can also pour the aromatic water, which changes monthly, yourself for a self-loyly. There are spots for cooling down both outdoors and indoors.

A ryokan complex in Tokachigawa Onsen, 20 minutes by car from Obihiro Station. It is made up of three buildings: HOSYUTEI (upscale style, with an open-air bath in every room), TOYOTEI (Japanese-modern style, focused on families) and SANYOAN. In the communal bath Yuraku you can soak in the globally rare plant-based Moor Onsen, an amber-colored bijin-no-yu ("beautifying" hot spring) designated a Hokkaido Heritage.
