AYA Niseko is a condominium-style hotel close to Mount Yotei and the Grand Hirafu ski area. Every room except the Atelier has a kitchen, so families can cook for themselves and stay for longer. A crib is available to rent for 3,000 yen per night, and children aged 6 and under co-sleep free of charge as long as no bedding or meals are added. Along with the natural onsen communal bath, there are private-hire baths the family can use on their own, which also work well for bathing with a small child.
Rooms
Every room except the Atelier has a kitchen (the Studio has a kitchenette). The Studio is 47 sq m with a kitchenette and sleeps 3; it has a shower only and no bathtub. The 1.5 Bedroom is 69 sq m with a kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, sleeping 3 and up to a maximum of 4. The 2 Bedroom sleeps 4 and up to a maximum of 5, and the 3 Bedroom is 154-156 sq m, sleeping 6 and up to a maximum of 7. The Residence is 225-308 sq m for a maximum of 7 to 9 guests, and the Penthouse is 277-373 sq m for a maximum of 9; both of these room types come with their own private natural onsen bath, which in the Penthouse is a top-floor open-air bath. With onsen water in the room, the family can bathe together without going to the communal bath. Bedrooms can be set up with either one king bed or two single beds, so the arrangement can be adjusted to suit how your family co-sleeps.

The hotel has natural onsen on site. Alongside the communal bath, open-air bath, cold bath and sauna, there are 3 private-hire family baths available by reservation. The private-hire baths cost 3,000 yen per hour and can be reserved at the front desk from midnight on the day of use. The communal bath and open-air bath are open from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 1 p.m. to midnight, and are for staying guests only. If you would rather bathe alone with a small child, the private-hire baths let you do so without worrying about other guests.
Family-Friendly Features
The hotel welcomes children and rents cribs for 3,000 yen per night. Children aged 6 and under can stay free of charge when co-sleeping without bedding or meals. Elementary school children pay 100% of the adult rate, whatever their grade. On the other hand, there is no childcare service and no indoor or outdoor pool.

Breakfast is served at Aya Kitchen as a Japanese-Western buffet. However, breakfast service is suspended in June and from September through November, and lunch and dinner service is suspended throughout the summer season, so meals are not available on site at certain times of year.

There is parking for about 25 cars, free for staying guests on a first-come, first-served basis; if it is full, staff will direct you to parking nearby. A free shuttle from the Hirafu Welcome Center or Kutchan Station is also available with advance reservation. The Grand Hirafu ski area is right at the hotel.
