The Hotel at a Glance

Run by the local Noborisaka Group in Funatsu, Fujikawaguchiko-machi, this hotel is a member of APA Partner Hotels. It is made up of three buildings - the Main Building, the West Building and a separate annex, The Noborisaka Village - with a broad lineup of about 200 rooms in 15 types, suited to everything from business trips to family holidays and glamping.

Rooms

Every room in the Main Building is non-smoking and equipped with a Plasmacluster air purifier and a 40-inch television. Alongside single rooms (16.32-16.5 sq m), doubles and twins, the Mount Fuji-side special rooms DXQ-I and DXTW-J/N/K (24-34 sq m) can be chosen with a luxurious balcony or with a separate bath and toilet. The second floor of the DXTW-K special room includes a Japanese-style tatami area with sunken-floor (horigotatsu) seating, giving it a combined Japanese-Western layout. The West Building offers singles, doubles and twins, with air purifiers that have a humidifying function. All rooms are equipped with France Bed beds (semi-double width, 1220 and up), a washlet-style bidet toilet, a refrigerator, a hair dryer and Wi-Fi. The Main Building's flooring is designed for going barefoot, so it is easy to lay a small child down on the floor.

Baths (Main Building Only)

The first floor of the Main Building has large saunas, communal baths and open-air baths separated by gender, and the men's side looks out on Mount Fuji. The sauna and communal bath are available only as Main Building facilities, and guests staying in the West Building can walk over to use them. The West Building has a separate jetted bath and sauna of its own, a place to warm up after a day of sightseeing, golf or business travel.

Dining

Breakfast is served buffet-style from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. in the first-floor restaurant of the West Building. Prices are clearly stated, including tax: 1,300 yen for adults, 800 yen for children from age 4 through elementary school, and free for children ages 3 and under. The first-floor restaurant in the Main Building serves lunch and dinner, including Mount Fuji Pancakes baked in a Mount Fuji lava stone oven, as well as pizza, steak and grilled vegetables.

The Separate Building: The Noborisaka Village

This separate building opened in autumn 2024 as a glamping facility based on container houses. The interiors are finished to the same class as the Noborisaka Hotel special rooms, with two bedrooms at either end, and each unit sleeps up to 4 adults. A spacious kitchen and a wood deck let guests enjoy a barbecue.

Points for Families with Children

A charge applies even for co-sleeping, but in practice children who have not yet started elementary school co-sleep free of charge, according to Yahoo! Travel's listing. Breakfast is free for children ages 3 and under and 800 yen for children from age 4 through elementary school, so the pricing is easy to follow. JTB support information notes that baby food can also be prepared on request, making this a business-hotel option that is easy to adjust around babies and toddlers.

Access and Location

The hotel is about 4 minutes by car from Kawaguchiko IC on the Chuo Expressway or Fujiyoshida IC on the Fuji-Goko Road, about 5 minutes by taxi from Kawaguchiko Station, and about a 20-minute walk. It works well as a base for Fuji-Q Highland, the Mount Tenjo ropeway and Fuji Subaru Land, and with 130 free parking spaces it also suits families traveling by car.
