Nasu Onsen Mongolia Village Tenger is a property in the Nasu highlands where you sleep in a ger, the portable dwelling of Mongolia, with 31 rooms in total. Rooms
The guest rooms are gers, the portable dwellings of Mongolia's nomadic herders, and there are 31 rooms in total. There is no bath, toilet or washbasin inside a ger; restrooms are in the management building and at three other points on the grounds. The standard Fours type is 24.6 sq m with four beds measuring 90 cm wide by 185 cm long, sleeping 2 to 5 guests. For a party of 5 one simple bed is added, and for 6 guests two sets of futon bedding are added. The rooms set a little apart from the front desk and the bath are 22.5 sq m, or 13.5 tatami mats, with four beds 100 cm wide, sleeping 2 to 6 guests; the front desk and the communal bath are about a 2-3 minute walk away. The Big Ger, for larger parties, comes in a five-bed type and a six-bed type, each sleeping up to 8 guests. Every room has air conditioning, a TV, a refrigerator and a safe, and all gers are non-smoking. Yukata are not provided, so please bring your own sleepwear.

Dinner is teppanyaki-style in the restaurant, with six kinds of meat in all, including Japanese Black beef chuck roll and Nasu Sangen pork. Appetizers, vegetables, yakisoba and white rice come with it, along with an all-you-can-eat selection of six ice creams. Breakfast is a Japanese and Western buffet of about 30 items, though on some days it is served as a plated meal depending on how many guests are staying. Children of elementary school age and older receive the same meal as adults, while children under elementary school age are served a kids' plate of ger-shaped rice, grilled wagyu skewers, wagyu Hamburg steak and the all-you-can-eat ice cream. Baths and Onsen
The baths use onsen water from Tenger's own source, which rises on the grounds, with indoor cypress and rock baths as well as an open-air bath. Hours are from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., and again from 6 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. the next morning. The spring water is a sodium and magnesium sulfate, chloride and bicarbonate onsen (neutral, hypotonic, low-temperature), rich in metasilicic acid and regarded as a bath that is good for the skin. A baby seat is provided in the women's bath changing room.

The property is 15 minutes by car from the nearest interchange, Nasu IC. By train, take a bus from Nasushiobara Station or Kuroiso Station and get off at Yuai no Mori (on a bus bound for Nasu Yumoto or Omaru Onsen, about 30 minutes). A free shuttle runs from Yuai no Mori to the property, with reservation required. There is no shuttle service to the nearest station. Parking has 30 spaces, free of charge and with no reservation needed.
