Hoshino Resorts RISONARE Nasu is an agritourismo resort spread through the forests of Nasu. All 43 guest rooms are non-smoking and shoes-off, with wood flooring, and with options such as the Main Building Premier Terrace, which has few steps, and the Maisonette Suite with its separate bedroom, there is a choice to suit everyone from babies to elementary school children. The buffet restaurant has children's chairs, baby food and a kids' menu, and the communal bath is fully equipped with baby items. Rooms
Guest rooms come in four types: Annex Superior, Main Building Premier Terrace, Annex Premier and Main Building Maisonette Suite. The Annex Superior is 36-45 sq m for 1-3 guests and has three beds measuring 200 cm wide by 95 cm long. The Main Building Premier Terrace is 45 sq m for 1-3 guests, and the Annex Premier is 38 sq m for 1-3 guests. The Main Building Maisonette Suite is 62 sq m for 1-4 guests, with a living area on the first floor and a bedroom on the second. Every room is non-smoking and shoes-off, with wood flooring throughout. The Main Building Premier Terrace in particular sits on a single floor with no stairs or noticeable steps, which suits families with babies who are still lying down or at the crawling stage. The Maisonette Suite has its bedroom on a separate floor, so once the children are asleep upstairs the adults can have time to themselves downstairs, which makes it popular with families with elementary school children. Co-sleeping is free for children aged 6 and under, up to the room's maximum occupancy, while children aged 7 and over are charged the accommodation rate. Three kinds of children's chairs are available: high chairs, low chairs and swing chairs. Dinner is 3,100 yen for ages 4 to 6 and free for ages 3 and under, and breakfast is 1,400 yen for ages 4 to 6 and free for ages 3 and under. Baby food is provided free of charge at SHAKI SHAKI. The adult-oriented main dining room OTTO SETTE NASU serves Italian cuisine as a course menu and requires a reservation. Children's courses (9,100 yen for ages 7 to 11 and 6,500 yen for ages 4 to 6) and baby food (500 yen) are available there as well. During dinner you can use Nursery, a free childcare service in which staff look after your child; it requires a reservation and is limited to one group, giving parents time as a couple.

The hot spring is a sulfur spring that wells up at the foot of Mount Chausu, the main peak of the Nasu mountain range, and there is an open-air bath as well as a communal bath.
