There is no communal bath; instead each room has the onsen to itself, so your family can bathe whenever you like without watching the clock. The Family Loft Room with an open-air bath sleeps 4, and up to 2 children can co-sleep. There is no parking on site, so guests use the free parking at the sister property along with the shuttle bus.
Rooms
This room-only inn opened in March 2024, a 1-minute walk from the Yubatake, with an onsen bath flowing straight from the source in every room. There are four room types. The Standard Room with an open-air bath is 34 sq m for 2 adults, and the Universal Room with an onsen bath is 43 sq m for 2 adults. The Universal Room is built with as few steps as possible, and for that reason its bath, fed straight from the source, is placed indoors. The only room at Yubatake Sensui where 4 guests can stay together is the 39 sq m Family Loft Room with an open-air bath, while the 53 sq m Deluxe Room with an open-air bath can be booked for 1 to 4 guests and has two beds, each 140 cm wide. Note that the Deluxe Room has only those two beds, so a party of 3 or 4 sleeps two to a bed, and no extra futon bedding or similar is provided. Each room has a kitchenette equipped with a microwave, an induction cooktop, a kettle, tableware, a refrigerator and other cooking facilities.
Dining
As this is a room-only inn, dinner and breakfast are not served, but from 7:30 a.m. there is a free light-meal service for staying guests at the first-floor restaurant Kamon. Kamon serves dishes made with local Gunma ingredients and has 47 seats in all: 39 regular seats plus 8 footbath seats. Of the 34 table seats, 8 can be used as a private room, making it an easy place to eat with young children without worrying about other guests. It is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., with last orders at 8 p.m.
Baths and Onsen
There is no communal bath; instead, each room has its own bath so you can enjoy the onsen for as long as you like, whenever you like. The Yubatake source is piped into each room, and since every room has an onsen bath, there is no need to reserve a private-hire bath separately. Kusatsu Onsen is a strongly acidic spring, so children with sensitive skin may develop irritation from the water; if you are concerned, the inn advises either using the shower only or rinsing the spring water off in the shower after bathing.
Family-Friendly Features
Up to 2 children can co-sleep. Children from age 0 through elementary school stay on a co-sleeping basis regardless of age, and even if the booking system shows "futon bedding included," no additional bedding is provided. To have a child aged 4 or over stay with meals and bedding, you need to choose the rate category that includes both. Guests take off their shoes on the guest-room floors, which can also be used by guests in a wheelchair.
Access
The inn is a 1-minute walk from the Yubatake and a 4-minute walk from the Kusatsu Onsen Bus Terminal. There is no parking on the grounds, however, so you use either the paid Yubatake Kanko Parking or the free parking at the sister property Kusatsu Now Resort Hotel. If you use the sister property's parking, you transfer to the free shuttle bus that runs between Yubatake Soan, a 1-minute walk away, and the hotel. The street in front of the inn is narrow and busy with pedestrians, so cars cannot stop or park there; you need to leave your car in a parking lot and come the rest of the way on foot.
