Every room was renovated in December 2025, and the hotel is built mainly around Japanese-style tatami rooms. The 10-tatami Japanese-style room is 34.9 sq m for up to 5 guests; the 10-tatami Japanese-style room without a bathroom is 32.4 sq m for up to 5 guests; the 7.5-tatami Japanese-style room without a bathroom is 29.2 sq m for up to 3 guests; the room with two separate Japanese-style tatami rooms (10 tatami and 8 tatami) is 52.9 sq m for up to 9 guests; the Japanese-Western room (Special Room), combining a tatami area with a Western-style area, is 71 sq m for up to 6 guests; and the Western-style twin room is 22.9 sq m for up to 2 guests. With so many tatami rooms, there is space to lay futons out side by side and sleep together as a family. The 10-tatami plus 8-tatami Japanese-style room without a bathroom is a two-room suite made up of two separate rooms, which suits three-generation groups and larger parties. In the Japanese-Western room, too, the tatami area can be closed off with shoji screens and used on its own, so the adults can carry on with their evening after the children are asleep. Note that the 10-tatami room without a bathroom, the 7.5-tatami room without a bathroom and the 10-tatami plus 8-tatami room without a bathroom do have a toilet in the room but no bathroom, so bathing means using the communal bath. Futons are laid out in advance to keep your room a private space. Rakuten Travel's property information also lists connecting rooms, in some rooms and with a reservation required.

Breakfast and dinner are both buffets in the restaurant; in-room dining is not available. Dinner is the Gunma Bimi Kyoen buffet, with a live kitchen where the chefs finish dishes in front of you. Breakfast runs from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. (last order 8:30 a.m.) and includes a freshly made onigiri (rice ball) corner where you choose from 6 fillings, along with other dishes that are easy to share out with children. Baby food comes in three types, for 7 months, 9 months and 12 months. Baby chairs are available as seating for children; just ask the staff in the dining hall. At both dinner and breakfast, the menu cards label allergens (wheat, egg, dairy, shrimp, crab, buckwheat, peanut, walnut and cashew), and dedicated staff are on hand to discuss food concerns. Do bear in mind, though, that allergenic ingredients are handled in the same kitchen. To ease crowding, guests are asked to keep dinner to 90 minutes and breakfast to 60 minutes. From 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. (last order), staying guests can have a free bowl of Jigoku Meguri Yonaki Tantanmen, one bowl per person.
Baths and Onsen
There is a communal bath and a garden open-air bath, both fed 100% straight from the Bandaiko spring source. Hours are 3 p.m. to midnight and 1 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., and the men's and women's baths do not swap over. The water is strongly acidic at pH 1.6, and the bathing area gets slippery, so keep an eye on children's footing. Baby beds are provided in both the men's and women's changing rooms for changing your baby. There are about 20 steps on the way to the communal bath, with a stairlift installed. Mixed bathing is allowed up to age 6. Whether children who are not yet out of diapers may get into the baths is not stated, so please confirm in advance. There is no private-hire bath.

For children's rates, elementary school children pay 70% of the adult rate with meals and bedding, children aged 3 to 6 who have not yet started elementary school pay 50% of the adult rate with meals and bedding, and children aged 0 to 2 co-sleep with no meals and no bedding for a facility usage fee of 1,650 yen. Up to 4 children can co-sleep, and the bathing tax is 150 yen per adult per night. The hotel has maloro, a free comic-reading space with 4,700 volumes available around the clock, which is a good way to pass a rainy day. The game corner on the 1st floor is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., and table tennis costs 550 yen including tax for 30 minutes and is available from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Children's yukata are also available in the 1st-floor lobby, in two sizes, 70 cm and 90 cm. There is no childcare service.
Access
A free shuttle bus runs on a regular schedule between the Kusatsu Onsen bus terminal and the hotel. Booking sites differ on whether a reservation is required, so if you want to use it, checking in advance is the surest approach. The bus terminal is also about a 10-minute walk away. Because of construction work around the Yubatake, the shuttle bus that ran as far as the Yubatake was discontinued on August 24, 2026, and the shuttle now runs only between the hotel and the Kusatsu Onsen bus terminal. The Yubatake is about a 15-minute walk away. From Naganohara-Kusatsuguchi Station on the JR Agatsuma Line, take the JR bus bound for Kusatsu Onsen for about 30 minutes and get off at the bus terminal. There is a free surface parking lot for 77 cars next to the hotel, with no advance reservation needed. Snow tires are required from December until around early April. In winter, the lobby rents out ski sets, snowboard sets and wear from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and the nearest ski area, Kusatsu Onsen Ski Resort, is about 4 minutes away by car. Check-in is at 3 p.m. and checkout is at 10 a.m., though the check-in paperwork itself can be done from 12:30 p.m.
