Rooms
Karuizawa Marriott Hotel consists of three buildings with 142 rooms in total: the Main Wing, the North Wing, and the dog-friendly cottages. In the Main Wing, the Superior Twin is 32 sq m for 1-3 guests and the Superior King is 32 sq m for 2-3 guests; in both, a sofa bed is prepared when three guests stay. The Japanese-Western room added in June 2026 is 33 sq m for 2-4 guests, with futon bedding from the third guest onward. The 71 sq m Junior Suite and the 78 sq m Executive Suite each accommodate 2-5 guests, again with futon bedding from the third guest onward. In the North Wing, where every room comes with an onsen bath, there are 39 sq m Premium Rooms with an onsen open-air bath and Premium Rooms with an onsen view bath, each for 2-4 guests and with futon bedding from the third guest onward. Families can choose a room type to suit their numbers.
Dining
Breakfast is served buffet-style at Grill & Dining G, the restaurant in the Main Wing. Dinner is served in the same restaurant, and elementary school children are served a children's dish at dinner. The restaurant seats 156, including one private room seating 12.
Baths and Onsen
The onsen communal bath and open-air bath on the Main Wing's B1 floor are open from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from 3 p.m. to midnight. North Wing guest rooms come with Shiozawa Onsen water, available only to guests staying in the North Wing.
Family-Friendly Features
Children who have not yet started elementary school co-sleep free of charge, for up to 2 children. Co-sleeping for elementary school children is 90% of the adult rate, as is co-sleeping for infants and toddlers who use both meals and bedding. Co-sleeping is not accepted for infants and toddlers with bedding but no meals, or with meals but no bedding. Guest rooms come with free loan items including children's yukata, baby baths, bed guards and baby-bottle sterilizing kits, and a crib is available to borrow for children under 1. A humidifier, air purifier and thermometer can also be borrowed free of charge. The fitness center on the property is for junior high school students and older, so children under school age and elementary school children cannot use it.
Access
The nearest stations are JR Karuizawa Station and Naka-Karuizawa Station on the Shinano Railway, both reachable by taxi. A free shuttle bus also runs between the hotel and the station depending on the time of year, though the station it serves changes with the season and seating is limited. From Tokyo, the trip takes about 1 hour 30 minutes by Shinkansen and taxi. Parking is available for 74 cars, free of charge and with no reservation required.
