Co-sleeping is limited to one child per bed. There is no charge for children ages 0 to 2, and it costs 3,000 yen from age 3 through elementary school. There are no extra beds or futons, so children sleep in the same bed as an adult. Double rooms accept up to 1 child, and twin rooms up to 2.

The men's and women's communal baths on the first floor are open from 3 p.m. to 10 a.m. the next morning, with only the sauna closed from 1 a.m. to 5 a.m. Mixed bathing is, as a rule, allowed up to age 6. Swimsuits are not permitted, and guests are asked not to put towels into the tubs. Families who would rather bathe privately can book the Family Cabin Room, which has its own hiba-wood open-air bath; one room of this type also has a private sauna.

Breakfast at the first-floor restaurant Hatago is 2,500 yen for adults and 1,200 yen for children, with no charge for children age 2 and under. It is served from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m., with last entry at 9 a.m. Cooking utensils and oil are also used for ingredients containing the nine specified allergens — eggs, wheat, shrimp, crab, milk, buckwheat, peanuts, walnuts and cashew nuts — and because it is a buffet, dishes with specific ingredients individually removed cannot be provided. A free yonaki soba service is also offered every day from 9:30 to 11 p.m.

Cancellation fees apply according to how many days remain before the stay date, and a cancellation on the day itself or a no-show without notice is charged 100% of the basic room rate. Please confirm the details with the property where you booked.

It is about 3 minutes by car from the Gotemba IC on the Tomei Expressway, or about 7 minutes by taxi (about 960 yen) from the Otome exit of Gotemba Station on the JR Gotemba Line; the walk takes about 30 minutes. Parking on the property is free for 50 cars on a first-come, first-served basis, and when it is full guests are directed to the adjacent No. 2 parking lot or the Chichibunomiya Memorial Park parking lot diagonally across the street.
