ARCADIA VILLAGE is a lodging property of log cabins and villas in Hinase-cho, Bizen, Okayama, each rented whole to a single group and built around a pirate village concept. Every cabin has its own outdoor booth where you can enjoy a barbecue. Children who have not yet started elementary school and are co-sleeping are not counted toward the cabin's capacity, and the Dining & Bar has a kids' plate for children. The SPA baths are free for staying guests, and there is also a summer-only pool.
Rooms
ARCADIA STAY is lined with whole-cabin log houses, each with its own outdoor booth. The VILLA is a two-story cabin sleeping 1 to 8 guests, 74.05 sq m, with 8 single beds and a bath and toilet. MINI LOG 4BED is 21 sq m with no bath or toilet, 4 single beds, and sleeps 1 to 4 guests. MINI LOG 2BED is 16 sq m with no bath or toilet, 2 queen beds, and sleeps 1 to 4 guests; its toilet and the SPA (bath) are shared. In every cabin, co-sleeping children under school age are not counted toward the capacity. Inside, the cabins have air conditioning, a refrigerator, an air purifier and a humidifier, and bath towels, face towels, body towels and toothbrushes are provided. Check-in is at 3 p.m. and checkout is at 11 a.m. The interiors are non-smoking, and pets cannot be brought along.
Dining
The Dining & Bar serves genuine Italian food in the spirit of a pirate tavern, with stone-oven pizza, pasta made with carefully chosen vegetables, and curry made from spices. For children there is the ARCADIA Kids Plate, and a drink can be added for 100 yen. Soft drinks include apple juice, grape juice and ramune (a Japanese lemon-lime soda), along with Baby Most wine in red and white. Breakfast is served in your cabin, and dinner in your cabin or at the restaurant. There is also a barbecue plan where you bring your own ingredients, which must be reserved at least 3 days before use. A mini kitchen and a microwave are available in some cabins only, and both require a reservation.
Baths
The SPA has an outdoor bath and an indoor bath, which alternate between men and women, switching from one day to the next. Guests staying at ARCADIA STAY can use the SPA (bath and shower) free of charge. Mixed bathing with children of elementary school age and older is not permitted, and children of elementary school age and under may not use it on their own. Bathing is also not permitted for anyone who regularly wears diapers, so take care if you are hoping to bathe with a child who is not yet out of diapers. A summer-only outdoor pool is available as well, at 550 yen per person.
Family-Friendly Features
Because co-sleeping children under school age are not counted toward each cabin's capacity, the whole-cabin log houses and villas are easy to book even when traveling with babies and toddlers. The dining menu includes a kids' plate, and the cabins have a humidifier and an air purifier. In cabins with a mini kitchen and a microwave - some cabins only, with a reservation - it is also easier to cook for yourselves or prepare formula and baby food. On the other hand, the SPA does not allow bathing by anyone who regularly wears diapers, nor mixed bathing with children of elementary school age and older, so it is worth checking these limits on family bathing in advance.

The property is a 13-minute walk from Hinase Station on the JR Ako Line. By car it is about 2 hours from central Osaka and about 1 hour from central Okayama. There are 20 parking spaces, free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis. If you arrive by boat, an advance reservation is required to use the visitor berth.
