Dinner is a barbecue, enjoyed in a covered barbecue space provided for every unit. It features marbled domestic Japanese beef, shrimp, scallops and other bounty from the mountains and the sea, along with fresh vegetables and salad. The gas grills are designed to be easy to use even for beginners. Because the space is covered, you can eat without getting wet even when it rains, so families with children can enjoy dinner with peace of mind.

With the bonfire experience (2,800 yen for 60 minutes, booked at the management building on the day of check-in), the family can gather around the fire and take in the starry skies over Lake Yamanaka. Rental bicycles (500 yen for up to 2 hours, 2,000 yen for 2 hours or more) are a way to explore the lakeshore, and in the units with a dog run (the dome tent with a dog run and the trailer house with a mini dog run) you can play together with your dog.

Each has one double bed and a permanent single-size bunk bed, so they work for many different family setups. All units are non-smoking, including heated tobacco products.
Dining
Dinner is served in a covered barbecue space, where you grill domestic Japanese beef and seafood such as shrimp and scallops yourselves. Rice is cooked in a mestin (a compact camping mess tin). Breakfast is outdoor-style too, starting the morning with warm soup and handmade hot sandwiches. Allergy-friendly meals are not available, so if anyone in your group has allergies, you will need to bring your own ingredients. If you will be checking in after 6:30 p.m., please contact the site in advance, as parts of the menu may be changed or meals may not be available.
Family-Friendly Notes
Children receive the same amenities as adults, and no dedicated baby items are listed. The only barrier-free feature is the Western-style toilet in each unit; nothing else is provided. Lights-out is at 10 p.m., so please be considerate of other guests who are sleeping. Fireworks are not allowed. The barrel sauna on the grounds requires swimwear and cannot be used by anyone aged 15 and under, so it is not an option for families with young children.

The site is about 5 minutes by car from Yamanakako IC, or about a 12-minute walk from the Yamanaka-kyoku-iriguchi highway bus stop. There are 12 parking spaces, free of charge and with no reservation needed. Extensions are available depending on availability on the day; if you have not checked out by 10 a.m., an additional charge of 5,000 yen per room per hour applies.
