In summer a large pool with a water slide opens up. Part of the freshwater pool, Seagull, has a young children's area 40 cm deep, which children in waterproof diapers can also use. Swim rings are available to borrow, and an electric air pump can be used for swim rings you bring yourself. The pool is free to use both before check-in and after checkout.

Toba Seaside Hotel is an onsen resort overlooking Toba Bay in Toba, Mie Prefecture. Its three buildings, Migiwa-kan, Nozomi-kan and Misaki-tei, hold 14 room types in all, including 9 rooms with an open-air bath and Japanese-bed rooms that pair twin beds with a tatami room. The Shiki buffet serves about 50 Japanese, Western and Chinese dishes and is popular with families with young children. In summer there is an outdoor pool with a young children's area 40 cm deep, and with private-hire family baths, plus baby baths and baby chairs available to borrow on a first-come, first-served basis, the hotel is well equipped for families with little ones.
Rooms
The three buildings facing Toba Bay, Migiwa-kan, Nozomi-kan and Misaki-tei, hold 14 room types in all. The Nagomi (Wakai) Floor on the 7th floor of Migiwa-kan offers Japanese-bed rooms that place twin beds in a Japanese-style tatami room, measuring 13.5 tatami mats plus a 3-tatami antechamber and sleeping 2 to 5 guests. Nozomi-kan also has spacious rooms of 12.5 and 7.5 tatami mats with twin beds (bed size 130 cm by 200 cm, sleeping 2 to 6 guests), well suited to three-generation trips and groups. In the Japanese-bed rooms at Misaki-tei, parties of up to 2 sleep in beds, while parties of 3 or more sleep on futons. In the 9 rooms with an open-air bath, you can soak in the onsen whenever you like, as often as you like.
Dining
The Shiki buffet lays out about 50 Japanese, Western and Chinese dishes and is popular with families with young children. The Toba Kitchen corner in the dining hall also serves dishes from Toba's outlying islands. If you would rather take your time over the meal, you can choose the Shiki kaiseki course instead, served in a calm private Japanese-style room. Breakfast is a Japanese and Western buffet built around egg dishes, served from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., closing at 9:30 a.m. The hotel does everything it can to accommodate guests with food allergies.

There are three communal baths, Kazami no Yu, Misaki no Yu and Migiwa no Yu, all built to look out over Toba Bay. Note that the Migiwa no Yu communal bath will be closed for renovation work from September 4 to October 31, 2026, while Kazami no Yu and Misaki no Yu remain open as usual. The spring water is an alkaline simple onsen, said to be beneficial for muscle pain, sensitivity to cold and recovery from fatigue. Children's rates apply to elementary school children and younger. When a child is served the same meals and bedding as an adult, the rate is 70% of the adult rate; with a children's meal and bedding it is 50%, and with bedding only it is 30%. The hotel is a 10-minute drive from Kintetsu and JR Toba Station, and a free shuttle bus runs on a regular schedule. Outdoor parking has space for 200 private cars and 30 tour buses, and is free to use.
