The Japanese-style tatami rooms run from a Standard 8-tatami room without an in-room bath up to a Standard 27-tatami room without an in-room bath, and the Standard 13-tatami room with an in-room bath (river side) takes 1 to 7 guests. Among the Japanese-Western rooms, the Standard Maisonette Twin with 10 tatami mats and an in-room bath is 32 sq m, the same room without an in-room bath is 35 sq m, and the Standard Maisonette Twin with two 10-tatami rooms and an in-room bath is 56 sq m and takes 1 to 10 guests; in all of these, when 3 or more guests stay, futon bedding is provided from the third guest onward. The spring water is a sodium-calcium chloride spring, with water added, heated and recirculated through a filtration system. The open-air bath at Kuruhi no Yu and the tsuboyu jar bath at Genbu no Yu are not onsen. The communal baths and open-air baths are open from 3 p.m. to midnight and from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m., and the sauna from 3 p.m. to midnight and from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.; these may change during cleaning times and on weekdays. Children aged 7 and over or 120 cm and taller use the bath for their own gender, so there is an upper age limit on bathing together with a parent of the opposite gender. Genbu no Yu and Kuruhi no Yu both have handrails in places, but they are not barrier-free, so watch your footing when walking with a child. There is no private-hire bath.
