Rooms

This is a small ryokan with 11 rooms in a four-story reinforced concrete building. The Special Room is a corner room on the fourth floor with 20 tatami mats plus a broad window-side space, a view over the Maruyama River and a shower room, and it accommodates 4 to 10 guests. The spacious Japanese-style tatami room has 8 tatami mats plus a broad window-side space, is roomy enough for 1 to 4 guests, and is built with as few floor-level changes inside as possible. The 14-tatami Japanese-style room, made up of two connected rooms, takes 4 guests or more, up to a maximum of 7, and suits trips with two generations of a family or groups of friends. The Japanese-Western room combines two single beds with a Japanese-style tatami area, accommodates 2 to 6 guests, and looks out over the natural scenery of the Maruyama River from the window; dining at the table seating is limited to 4 guests. Because meals are taken in the tatami area and guests sleep in beds, this room also suits those who have trouble with their legs and back. The mountain-side Japanese-style tatami rooms are at the front of the building, on the opposite side from the river; their windows are smaller, and the rates are set lower to match. Every room has a washbasin and a toilet with a bidet seat, and there is an elevator, but stairs lead from the front desk to the lobby, so guests are asked to let staff know if they need a hand.
