Rooms
Guest rooms are divided among three buildings: the West, Central and East buildings. The West Building Stylish Twin is 26 sq m and sleeps up to 3 guests, with two low beds and one futon. Its bathroom has a shower booth only, with no bathtub. The East Building Moderate rooms are 40-47 sq m and sleep up to 4 guests. The Central Building Neo-Modern Japanese-style tatami room is 35 sq m and sleeps up to 3 guests; it has a semi-open-air bath and ocean views. The West Building Premium Rooms are 52 sq m and sleep up to 4 guests, in five types: Yuunagi, Asahi, Japanese, Japanese Resort and Asian. On the top floor of the East Building, the 9th floor, there is a panoramic communal bath with sweeping views of the Pacific, with one bath each for men and women. Hours are 3 p.m. to midnight (last admission 11:30 p.m.) and 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. (last admission 9:30 a.m.). The water is heated water rather than onsen water, and day-use bathing is not available. The baths are not barrier-free, and the changing rooms and bathing areas have diaper-changing tables, baby baths and shower chairs. Under Ibaraki Prefecture regulations, mixed bathing with children aged 7 and over is not permitted. Outdoors there is the Seaside Pool, open during the summer season only, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Alongside the main pool, which measures 18 m long by 10 m wide and 1.2 m deep, there is a shallow, gourd-shaped kids' pool 0.3 m deep, and staying guests can use them free of charge. You can walk between your room and the pool in your swimwear, and step straight from the pool onto the shore to explore the rocks.
