Overview
Hinotani Onsen Misugi Resort is a countryside-experience resort set among the satoyama hills of Misugicho in Tsu, Mie. It draws on its own spring source, Hinotani Onsen, a bicarbonate spring known for leaving skin smooth, and has the summer-season Fire Valley Water Park, the Hotel Annex and the SOMA Cottages, some of which allow pets. It also makes a convenient base for sightseeing in Ise, Iga and Nara.
A countryside-experience resort spread across the mountains of Misugicho in Tsu, Mie, made up of the Hotel Annex and the SOMA Cottages. Misugicho covers a third of the city of Tsu and was the first area in the Tokai region to be certified as a forest therapy base. The main sightseeing areas of Ise, Iga, Nagashima and Nara are 60 to 80 minutes away by car, which makes the resort a practical base for touring.
