One of northern Japan's largest water adventures, open July 11 to September 1, 2026, and running until 15:00 on the final day. This summer-only pool complex has 8 types of activities in all, including Wild River, a 180-meter rapids ride; the 150-meter Water Bobsleigh; a large pool 50-100 cm deep measuring 40 m by 20 m; the Chibikko Pool, up to 40 cm deep with a soft floor; a bouncy balloon slider; and Ukiuki River, up to 50 cm deep and open to children from age 3. There is also Mizuasobi Hiroba, a water-play area that is perfect for a child's first time in a pool.

A 60 cm-deep pool spread out right in front of the hotel, suited to a child's first time in the water. The water temperature is managed at 25-28°C, so children can enjoy splashing about in the highland breeze.

Communal bath and open-air bath (Kabanosawa Onsen, the hotel's own spring)

Separate men's and women's communal baths and open-air baths fed by Kabanosawa Onsen, the hotel's own spring (a chloride spring). The men's communal bath also has Tabibito no Yu, an artificial hot spring using komeiseki stone. A sauna is attached as well.

Beyond the water park, there are plenty of hands-on programs that also suit summer homework: a merry-go-round, the Benkei-go mini steam train, go-karts, putting golf, a festival stall square, fishing and catch-them-by-hand experiences, a handmade craft workshop (snow domes and candles), soba noodle-making and river play.

Rental items and baby goods

Free to borrow: hair dryer, bottle opener, cooling gel pack, nail clippers, sewing kit, thermometer and stroller. Available for a fee: mahjong, shogi, go, Jenga, playing cards and UNO. Children's yukata (100/120 cm), toddler jinbei (a light two-piece cotton set, 95 cm) and children's slippers (22 cm only) are provided as standard.
