The Standard Twin and Superior Twin have a combined bath-and-toilet unit. A humidifying air purifier is provided in every room.

Dinner is a Japanese, Western and Chinese buffet from 5 p.m. to 8:45 p.m., and breakfast is a Japanese and Western buffet from 6:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. Both the dinner and breakfast venues carry allergen labeling, and the kids' corner lines up dishes such as takoyaki (octopus dumplings), pizza and chicken tatsuta-age. The restaurant has children's tableware, forks, spoons, cups and aprons, as well as children's chairs and high-low chairs. Baby food for 5-month-olds and 7-month-olds is also available; numbers of children's chairs and baby racks are limited. In winter you can switch from the buffet to a kaiseki course or a shabu-shabu course with advance reservation, and there is a menu for elementary school children as well as a plate for children under school age. As for rates, children from age 3 up to elementary school age are charged the rate for children under school age, with meals and futon bedding included, while children under 3 stay free of charge with no meals and no futon bedding.

The communal bath, Maiko Onsen Iishi no Yu, is a simple onsen (hypotonic, weakly alkaline). Hours are 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. to midnight from April through November, and 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. to midnight from December through March. The communal bath has children's chairs, baby bath chairs, baby soap, a diaper-changing table and a diaper-only trash bin, and the changing room of the women's communal bath also has a baby playpen. Day-use bathing is available, at 700 yen for children from age 3 through elementary school age; children aged 2 and under are free of charge when accompanied by a guardian.

Access
The hotel is 1 km straight on from the Shiozawa-Ishiuchi IC on the Kan-Etsu Expressway, about 2 minutes away, and about 20 minutes from Echigo-Yuzawa Station by free shuttle bus; from spring through autumn the shuttle requires a reservation. Parking is reserved for staying guests, with 100 spaces available free of charge. The Maiko Snow Resort ski area is right in front of the hotel, so you can go back and forth without walking or driving any distance at all.
