On August 22, a ghost-story session is followed by a small-watermelon splitting experience and tasting, open to guests staying at the hotel that night. On August 23, there is a harvesting experience and tasting in a cornfield, open to guests who stayed the previous night on August 22. Only elementary school students and older pay a fee; children who have not yet started elementary school take part at no charge. You need to sign up in advance at the hotel front desk.

It is closed on Wednesdays - or the following Thursday when the Wednesday falls on a public holiday - and may also close on irregular or temporary days depending on the season.
