Hotel Green Plaza Tojoko

Each room is 28.8 sq m with a 12-tatami Japanese-style area, a king-size bed and 2 sets of futon bedding, sleeping up to 4 guests, and all are non-smoking. In-room items include a baby care mat, a formula-preparation device, a baby bottle brush and detergent, foaming baby soap and shampoo, a toilet-training seat, a step stool, wooden toys, a diaper-only trash bin and Kids Station (viewable on the TV). The rooms are designed with babies in mind, with rounded furniture corners and beds that sit low with only a small step down. In front of the elevators on the 9th floor, a picture book shelf made of Hyogo-grown hinoki cypress holds about 500 picture books.

A communal bath with a sauna, a hinoki cypress bath and a jacuzzi. There is a baby bed in the changing room, and the bathing area has a baby bath chair and mildly acidic foaming baby soap. There is an open-air bath as well. The bathtubs in the guest rooms are not fed by the hot spring. Hours are 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.

A buffet with a live kitchen serving about 50 Japanese, Western and Chinese dishes. There is a kids' corner and baby food by age in months always on hand, along with children's tableware, baby chairs, in-restaurant strollers and a baby changing table. Every menu item carries labeling for the 5 major allergens.

A kids' space on the 1st floor of the Connection Wing, in front of the communal bath, laid with 50 mm-thick cushioned flooring. It is a space where babies can play with peace of mind.

The amenity bar on each floor keeps children's yukata (75/95/115 cm), slippers, toothbrushes and a diaper trash bin on hand. Items available to borrow at the front desk include bed-wetting sheets, children's nail clippers, a toilet-training seat, an iron and baby first-aid items (a thermometer, disinfectant, cooling gel sheets and an ice pillow). The shop in the Connection Wing lobby, open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., sells diapers (from 230 yen for size M and up), baby goods and baby food.

An adjacent theme park a few minutes' walk from the hotel, with 10 toy-filled pavilions, attractions that children can enjoy from age 0, and a pool in summer. The hotel is its official partner hotel, so you can go back and forth easily even while carrying a baby.
