Overview
Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Matsunoi opened in August 2026 in Minakami Onsen, Gunma, looking out over the Tone River and Mount Tanigawa. Guests can go bath-hopping around the property between three open-air baths - Wakaba no Yu, Ao no Yu and Akane no Yu - and five private-hire baths, all fed by soft simple onsen water. Inside, there is a Kids Park with large multi-level play structures and a summer-only outdoor pool, and the restaurant provides baby food along with children's tableware and chairs. The communal bath is equipped with baby baths and baby chairs, making it easier to bathe with a small child.
Rooms
Guest rooms are spread across three buildings - Wakaba-kan, Ao-kan and Tsubaki-kan - in a range of types including Japanese-style tatami rooms, Japanese-Western rooms and twins. The Japanese-style tatami rooms come in 10- and 12-tatami-mat sizes, and rooms sleeping 3 to 5 guests are available, making them a good fit for families. Japanese-Western rooms range from those for 1 guest to those for 8, and the Superior Japanese-Western rooms in Wakaba-kan come with their own onsen open-air bath. The suite-type rooms in Ao-kan also have a semi-open-air bath, though it is not fed by the hot spring.

Breakfast and dinner are both buffets at the restaurant Mizuoto. Dinner is served from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and breakfast from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. The restaurant provides baby food as well as children's tableware and chairs.
