Rooms

Every room has an ocean view and is a 1-minute walk from Shirarahama Beach. Room types include Japanese-style tatami rooms, Japanese-style tatami rooms with beds, and Western-style rooms. The renovated Japanese-style tatami rooms on the 4th and 7th floors are 10 or 12 tatami mats and accommodate up to 5 guests. In the bed-equipped rooms on the 6th floor's Nami no Aya and the suites on the 8th floor's Hama Suisho, beds can be joined together if requested by the day before arrival. In the Hama Suisho suites on the 8th floor, futon bedding with Muatsu Sleep Spa mattresses is provided for the third and subsequent guests. All rooms except the standard-room ReFa rooms have a bath. There are 22 rooms in total with source-fed open-air baths in the 9th-floor Mashirano and 8th-floor Hama Suisho rooms, and some Nami no Aya rooms on the 6th floor have Mira Bath systems.

Dining

Depending on the plan, dinner is served at one of four locations: Restaurant Waku Waku, the private dining area on the 5th floor, Aoi on the 8th floor, or in-room dining. Elementary school-age children receive kaiseki cuisine with fewer dishes, while children under school age are served a kids' meal. Additional children's menu options such as udon are also available. Kids' meals include Kumano beef Hamburg steak, Wakayama-brand fried chicken (karaage) and mandarin juice. The Panda meal for small children comes with a panda-shaped rice ball. Children's chairs, portable bassinets, and children's tableware such as spoons, forks and small plates are provided at mealtimes. Allergy accommodations are available for the 8 specified allergen items—shrimp, crab, wheat, buckwheat, eggs, milk, peanuts and walnuts—by consultation when requested at least 3 days before the stay. For severe symptoms, guests may also bring safe foods such as retort-packaged or frozen foods. During pregnancy, raw-food dishes can be changed to cooked menus if requested at least 3 days in advance.

Baths and onsen

The communal bath offers two types of onsen with different types of spring water: Fuji no Yu, fed by a source on the mountain side, and Tsukumoto no Yu, fed by a source on the sea side. Both use source-fed water. Hours are 3 p.m. to midnight and 5 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., with alternating use by men and women. A baby bed is installed in the changing room. The changing room is on the 2nd floor and the bath is on the 1st floor, with about 15 steps to reach the bath. There is no private-hire bath or sauna. The Mashirano rooms on the 9th floor and Hama Suisho rooms on the 8th floor have source-fed open-air baths, offering a private way for families to enjoy the onsen. Guests with tattoos must bring their own cover seals; they may use the bath only if the tattoo can be fully covered.
